Several of our S2 pupils were involved in the BBC News School Report on 11th March. The pupils had brushed up on their reporting skills with a little help from BBC Radio Shetland presenter Jane Moncrieff. Using materials from the BBC website, and with first-hand support from Jane Moncrieff who visited the school, they developed their journalistic skills to become School Reporters. Sandwick was one of 70 Scottish schools taking part in the UK-wide News Day, simultaneously creating video, audio and text-based news reports, and publishing them on a school website, to which the BBC linked.

This holidays i went to the park most days with Antonia, Aimee, Kayleigh and Katrina. I slept at Aimee Budges Two nights one with Megan, Siobhan and Blythe and the other with Antonia. I stayed at Blythe one niht with Sarah but she sent home feeling ill so me and blythe watched dvds and eat popcorn and in the morning we went to town with Siobhan and Megan and i got a necklace which i broke yesterday lol:P.
